  1. March 16, 1994 Dear Customers, Enclosed is
  2. the first public beta test version of our
  3. brand new VirusScan version 2.0.  We are
  4. excited to bring this new version to you.
  5. You will notice significant performance
  6. enhancements, along with a reduced memory
  7. footprint. With this first beta test version,
  8. you should note a few things. First, this is
  9. beta software, and since this is a complete
  10. re-write of the code, we are asking you to
  11. remember that as beta software, it may
  12. contain some bugs.  If you encounter any
  13. problems, please report them to us
  14. immediately as described in the enclosed
  15. REPGUIDE.TXT. In addition, the virus
  16. complete. We have developed a whole new
  17. mechanism for detecting and cleaning viruses,
  18. and are still creating the identification
  19. parameters for some viruses.  If you
  20. encounter a virus that we do not yet detect,
